The National Weather Service issued a report at 6:50 a.m. on Saturday for light snow until 9 a.m. for Fayette Ridges as well as Washington, Greene and Fayette counties. "Light snow will overspread the area this morning before tapering off by this afternoon. Light accumulations of up to 1 to locally 2 inches can be expected south of I-70, with a dusting up to a half inch possible farther north. While most of the snow accumulation will be on grassy and elevated surfaces, some slick spots on roads will be possible, especially bridges and overpasses. Reduced visibilities can also be expected. Please use extra caution if traveling this morning and allow for some extra time to reach your destination," according to the weather service.

Doctor from Wheeling Charged with Tax Fraud, Obstructing Justice
A doctor from Wheeling, West Virginia, has been indicted for failure to pay over nearly $2.5 million in payroll taxes. United States Attorney William Ihlenfeld announced that Nitesh Ratnakar, age 48, was indicted Wednesday on forty-one counts of tax fraud and one count of obstructing a federal grand jury investigation. Ratnakar owned and operated a gastroenterology practice and a medical equipment manufacturer in Elkins, West Virginia. He is alleged to have withheld payroll taxes from his employees’ paychecks and then failed to make all required payments to the Internal Revenue Service. Between 2018 and 2022, Ratnakar allegedly failed to pay over $2,419,560 in employee withholdings to the I.R.S.
