18-year-old pleads guilty to murder of Syracuse man days before trial
Syracuse, N.Y. – An 18-year-old pleaded guilty Wednesday to murdering a Syracuse man with the help of another man just days before he was set to go to trial. Junari Harold, who was 17 at the time of the killing, admitted to acting with Vladimir Fernandez, 26, to cause the death of Tyus Ogletree on Jan. 7, 2022.

Syracuse, N.Y. — A man was arrested Wednesday for shooting a 22-year-old in the Huntley Apartments in December in the Strathmore neighborhood in Syracuse, police said. At 7:51 a.m. on Dec. 13, a 911 caller reported someone had been shot in the leg in the basement at The Huntley at 409 Stolp Ave. in Syracuse, according to dispatches from the Onondaga County 911 Center.
