A pedestrian died in a single-vehicle accident in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, on December 1, 2023. The Louisiana State Police Troop F stated the incident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on LA-594 near Radar Drive. The victim was 63-year-old Gregory Moore from Monroe.
Winnfield man dies in 18-wheeler accident
WINNFIELD, La. (KALB) - A Winnfield man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on November 29 around 5:40 a.m. on East Lafayette Street in Winnfield. Dale Kenney, 35, was driving a pickup truck in the westbound lane, when he veered into the eastbound lane, in the path of an oncoming 18-wheeler. The two vehicles collided head-on.

Victims of Winnfield shooting speak out on how it changed their lives
WINNFIELD, La. (KNOE) - Two brothers who are victims of a Winnfield shooting say they want justice. Nolan Griffin, 23, of Dodson, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities and two counts of hate crimes on Nov. 8, 2023. According to Winnfield police, he shot at two brothers - striking both of their trucks in the back of the windshield. One of them is still healing from bullet wounds.
