Windsor County Sheriff's Deportment to patrol in Tunbridge
TUNBRIDGE, Vt. (WCAX) - The Windsor Country Sheriff’s Department has picked up another patrolling contract with a town in a neighboring county. The select board in the Orange County Town of Tunbridge has agreed to a $50,000 one-year contract with the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department. That contract, which starts July 1st, will pay for about 15 patrol hours a week. Windsor deputies already patrol in nearby Chelsea. Officials from both towns say the orange county sheriff’s department simply didn’t have the resources to suit their needs and say the Windsor county department is a good fit.
Grantham doctor indicted on drug and fraud charges
