Funeral arrangement set for 24-year-old Prichard native who died from cancer
PRICHARD, Ala. (WALA) - Funeral arrangements have been set for a 24-year-old from Prichard who died last week after battling two forms of leukemia. In March, Kelsey Hill talked to FOX10 about his diagnosis and fundraising efforts to help support his desire to eat healthier food. He and his mother, Greta Booker say at one point, doctors told him he only had two weeks to live, but he surpassed that prognosis. Despite fighting hard to live longer and staying upbeat, positive and smiling through it all, he unfortunately lost his battle to cancer last Wednesday. Days after, his brother, Josh says one thing he will never forget is how much Kelsey wanted to be just like him.
