Amanda senior Aidan Rich didn't let challenges stop him from pursuing an acting career
AMANDA − Amanda-Clearcreek High School's 2024 Outstanding Senior Aidan Rich faced a challenge most students don't have to face. "I have overcome a lot in my high school career," he said. "I had an autism spectrum diagnosis in primary school, and that's come with some ups and downs. It's definitely made me smarter than I normally would be and helped with my creative inclinations and artistic expression. But it's also held me back quite a bit."
Local event set to bring laughs to seniors
CHILLICOTHE — Seniors get ready to laugh out loud at an upcoming event sponsored by the Ross County Suicide Prevention Coalition, ADAMH and Danbarry Cinemas. Gen. Sherman's sword to return home to Sherman House Museum with permanent display
LANCASTER − General William T. Sherman's sword will soon be coming home. Literally. On Tuesday, the Sherman House Museum submitted the winning bid of $130,000 at Fleischer's Auctions for the sword the city native used in the Civil War. The museum plans to display it in the next few weeks at the museum, which was Sherman's actual residence.
