Cincinnati: CRC Will Open It’s First Round Of Pools On Saturday

The Cincinnati Recreation Center is preparing to open its first round of pools on Saturday, with a focus on recruiting and training lifeguards. Chris Pike emphasized the importance of getting more

guards in their programs and working with media partners to promote the opportunity for summer employment.

“Get more guards in our programs, get them trained and working with our media partners to get the word out that this was a great opportunity for the summer and this year we were able to fill our positions,” Chris Pike with Cincinnati Recreation Center said.

Then on Monday, June 3, the next wave of places will open for swimmers, a total of 17 pools.

And finally by June 10, every location will be open.

The center offers year-round lifeguard training and a junior lifeguard program to help kids improve their swimming skills. Via: WLWT
