Tuesday evening traffic: Highway 17 accident, lane closures on Hwy 1 & Little Basin Rd

A traffic accident happened on Highway 17 North near Sugarloaf Road in Scotts Valley. A vehicle ended up on its side, and debris like nails and wood was spread across the road. A big rig was partially blocking the right lane. Emergency services, including CAL FIRE, were called, and a full response was requested. A SIG alert was issued, and CMS signs were activated to help manage traffic. The status of any injuries was unknown at the time of the report.
