OUC Hosts Youth Energy Academy: A Hands-On Experience in the Energy Industry for Local Students
OUC recently hosted an engaging Youth Energy Academy, offering local students a hands-on experience to explore careers in the utility industry. Around 65 students from Osceola, Orange, Seminole, and Lake counties participated in interactive learning sessions at OUC’s Conway Water Treatment Plant. Activities included a “Balancing the Grid” workshop led by the Orlando Science Center and a Mock Hurricane Simulation conducted by BAM (Black Architects in the Making) Orlando.
