CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A Chillicothe Police Department officer was spit on while responding to a report of a man behaving erratically in traffic on Wednesday. The officer, according to his report, observed a man standing in the middle of Bridge St. at E 5th Street while vehicles were traveling nearby. Counterfeit cash leads to arrest at a Chillicothe Dollar General
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Local authorities were dispatched to the Dollar General store at 609 Central Center in response to a case involving counterfeit bills. Upon arrival, officers made contact with store employees who reported that a customer, identified as Jamie Ford, attempted to load money onto a prepaid card using four $50 bills. The bills, when checked with a currency marker, were found to be counterfeit. Further inspection revealed that all four bills shared the same serial number, “PG11642988A”.
