PARADISE, Calif. - There is more affordable housing coming to Paradise. There was a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday to celebrate the start of the new project. Crews control vegetation fire in Hamilton City, evacuation orders lifted
HAMILTON CITY, Calif. - Firefighters rushed out to Hamilton City Monday afternoon to battle a vegetation fire that sparked on Highway 45 and County Road 24. An evacuation order was issued for the area but it was lifted at 3:30 p.m. Firefighters were able to keep the blaze to about 10 acres.
