Ga. Supreme Court upholds murder conviction for Thomas Co. man
ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - On Tuesday, May 14, the Georgia Supreme Court upheld the murder conviction and life sentence of a Thomas County man. Derylmaize Jackson appealed his conviction of one count of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
1 dead in Florida crash involving Dothan man
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Calhoun County, Florida on Friday afternoon. According to a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) incident report, the driver of a commercial van driven by a 47-year-old Bristol, Florida man was travelling eastbound on Florida Highway 20 when, for reasons unknown to investigators at this time, their vehicle crossed the roadway into oncoming traffic.
