Video shows moments leading up to Charleston head-on crash involving bus

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a KRT bus in Charleston Saturday morning.

According to Metro 911, the bus was involved in an accident with a sedan near the Walgreens by Washington Street on Charleston’s West Side around 6:38 a.m. The condition of the those injured has not been reported at this time.

KRT told 13 News that the safety of passengers and employees is its number one priority, and that it is “working in cooperation with law enforcement to assist with the investigation.”

Members of the Charleston Police and Fire Departments were on the scene of the incident alongside EMS.
