According to the Baltimore Police Department, the incident unfolded on March 28, just before 1 a.m., when officers were summoned to a residence following reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, a woman recounted to the police that two unidentified men forcibly entered her home, demanding money. They purportedly claimed to have her son, 47-year-old David Winchester Jr., and threatened harm unless she complied with their monetary demands. The suspects absconded from the premises without the ransom.
