Frederic man arrested under suspicion of OWI - 6th offense
BURNETT COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - A Frederic man was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol for suspicion of OWI - 6th offense Saturday morning. According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a trooper initiated a traffic stop on County Highway B and Lind Road near Sired for a traffic violation around 12:45 a.m. When contacting the driver, the trooper reported signs of impairment. The driver, 48-year-old Jeremy Carlson was arrested, taken to the hospital for a blood test and then to the Burnett County Jail.
