Kroger employee allegedly gave family, friends 5-finger discounts
NEWNAN, Ga. (WKRC) - A Kroger employee allegedly gave her family and friends five-finger discounts. According to WAGA-TV, 19-year-old Mirycle Crawford left work in handcuffs July 2 after she allegedly gave family and friends cash and free gas. Per the outlet, loss prevention staff at a Kroger location in Newnan, Georgia accused Crawford of not depositing cash into the company's safe as she should have.

Coweta County Schools will begin the 2024-25 school year on Thursday, August 1. The school system welcomed about 180 new teachers and staff during New Teacher’s Orientation on Wednesday, July 24. Teachers report back to their schools for pre-planning on Friday, July 26. And – in addition to other back-to school events across the county – Newnan High School will hold a dedication and open house of their newly-rebuilt facility on Sunday, January 28.
