Closure of ‘most dangerous’ intersection in Sharon
SHARON - The intersection at Connelly Boulevard and Spencer Avenue has been the sight of a number of car accidents. In November 2021, 43 year old Michael Davies was involved in a fatal crash when a driver tried to beat a red light. That driver, Michael Salsgiver, plead guilty to a felony and was sentenced to 18 to 36 months in prison. After that accident, conversations began regarding closing the intersection. 5 years later, the intersection is closing and is now under construction.
