Boil water order rescinded for N.E.W. Water Supply customers
SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KTRE) - A boil water water notice for N.E.W. Water Supply customers in San Augustine has been rescinded. On April 28, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the N.E.W. Water Supply, #2030034, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
