Food truck provides free food to people in Cedar Rapids
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids man opened up the food truck he co-owns for free to help support families in an area that will soon become a food desert. Greg Wild is a Cedar Rapids native and said he wanted to give back to the community he grew up in. He and a few volunteers gave away free food from the food truck, Wild’r Eatery, in the parking lot of the Hy-Vee along First Avenue in Cedar Rapids.
