Bishop Noll announces alum as new basketball coach
HAMMOND, Ind. (May 4, 2024) – Bishop Noll Institute’s next boys basketball head coach has been selected from within the Warrior family. Ryan Schooler, a 2006 BNI graduate and four-year varsity player while at Noll, has been hired to succeed John Dodson, Noll Athletic Director Cynthia Wilson announced. An assistant coach this past year, Schooler played a significant role in helping Dodson’s Warriors post a 20-8 record that included conference and sectional championships.
Philanthropic cause takes center stage with APO
Recently, Alpha Psi Omega (APO) and Chasing Dreams, their local philanthropic chapter, collaborated to host an endearing talent show. It took place in the Mueller Refectory on April 27. Viewers were able to attend the musical event and vote for the “fan favorite,” based on the amount of monetary donations placed on each performer’s name. Voters could buy one vote for $5 or three votes for $10. All the proceeds went to Chasing Dreams, a nonprofit organization located in Hobart, Ind.
