2 people injured in rollover crash
GREENWOOD, Wis. (WEAU) - Two people were injured following a two-vehicle rollover crash in the town of Greenwood Saturday. According to a news release from the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, on June 1 at about 12 p.m., the dispatch center received the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road EE and County Road Q in rural Hillsboro, Wis., in the town of Greenwood.
2 men arrested after breaking into tower site
COON, Wis. (WEAU) - Two men were arrested Saturday night after breaking into a communications tower site and trying to steal copper. 39-year-old Stephen Nofsinger and 34-year-old Joshua Quario, both from rural Kendall, Wis., were arrested on June 1 around 11:30 p.m. after being caught trying to steal copper from a communications tower site in rural Westby, Wis., in the town of Coon.

In a video taken during the May 31 graduation ceremony, a female student is seen shaking hands with a row of educational staff members, typical of any graduation. Suddenly, her father jumps into the frame and pushes Superintendent Rainey Briggs aside before his daughter reaches Briggs to shake his hand. The graduate and other staff members appear confused, as the men are heard arguing off camera.
Woman dead after crash leaves car hanging from tree Friday, officials say
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A 21-year-old woman died Friday afternoon in a deadly crash that left her car hanging from a tree, Juneau County officials say. Police received a report at 4:58 p.m. Friday that there was a one vehicle accident on County Highway near Linda Town Hall. Kaitlyn Cavanaugh, a woman from Adams, was pronounced dead on the scene.
