Pridefest is returning to Danville
The VC Pride Coalition is bringing Pridefest back to Danville for its second year. Before the event last year, we spoke to one of the members, who was optimistic about bringing Pride to Danville. Over a thousand people came out to celebrate, show their support and have a good time. This year’s festival promises to be even bigger with an expanded space as well as vendors, music from DJ Silkee, speakers from the VC community, performances, a pet parade, a diaper drive, a Drag King/Queen story hour, and a scavenger hunt. Everyone is welcome to attend and volunteer spots are available, just send them an email at [email protected] to get involved.
