(WSAZ) - The rowdy weather of the overnight triggered a few Flash Flood Warnings that left some scrambling near sunrise, but the rain has exited to the east and sunshine is fighting its way back into the region. We’re expecting actual sunshine this midday through the afternoon, and while we still can sneak a brief/isolated shower most folks will enjoy the outside for a change -- on a holiday Friday no less! Temperatures will reach the lower 80s, and it will still feel rather steamy out there given the still-persistent humidity. Overnight tonight, we’ll be tracking some new rounds of rain making their approach, but that’s a more convenient time to deal with rain. A few of those showers may well linger into the start of Saturday, but that day looks like it will have a bit of good news as well.
