Watch: 1 arrested for arson after Salinas trailer fire
SALINAS, Calif. — A trailer fire on Fontes Lane resulted in a large firefighter response on Thursday. The trailer was deemed a complete loss. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office believes the man living inside the trailer is responsible for starting the fire. He was renting the trailer from his father-in-law.

Murder suspect held to answer for Aug. 7 murder
A man suspected of killing his roommate on Aug. 7. in Watsonville was back in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing after he was found mentally fit to stand trial. Carmel post office lobby 'red tagged' after Tesla crashes into front
CARMEL-BY-THE-SEA, Calif. — Carmel police said that a 74-year-old woman crashed her Tesla into the front of the United States Postal Service building on Wednesday.
