The 2024 Florida School Safety summit underway in Orlando.Tony Montalto, who lost his 14-year-old daughter Gina in the massacre, says school safety specialists and mental health coordinators from each of the sixty seven Florida Public School Districts are on hand to discuss ways to create the safest learning environment. The meeting comes a day before demolition of the the twelve-hundred building at Stoneman Douglas High School begins. The families of the victims have been invited to witness the demo and hammer off a piece if they want it. No word yet on what the building will be replaced with.
