Softball Game Recap: Caseville Takes a Loss
Caseville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 22-13 to the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Caseville of the 13-10 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.
Softball Recap: Unionville-Sebewaing snaps three-game streak of wins on the road
It was a good run, but Unionville-Sebewaing unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Swan Valley Vikings. Unionville-Sebewaing was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Swan Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

BAY PORT, Wis. — A Bay Port student-athlete is flourishing in her final year of high school. She's excelling on the track, in the classroom and in the community. Madeline Thoreson competes in long jump, high jump, hurdles and relays, along with competing on the volleyball team. She set a record last year with a long jump of 18 feet and 1 ¾ inches.
