Jamestown council approves purchase of fire truck, donation to upcoming fishing tournament
The Jamestown City Council held a brief special-called meeting yesterday. The council approved the purchase of a fire truck at a cost of $120,o00. Fire Chief Jeff Landers and Major Philip Anderson learned about the truck, which came from another department in western Kentucky. Landers and Anderson recently went to examine the truck before coming back to the council to recommend the purchase.
