GUNTER, Texas (KXII) - Out in Gunter, it seems as if a message has engrained itself in the DNA of the community with the Tigers celebrating yet another championship. In a tradition about as certain as death or taxes in Grayson County, ring season arrives for Gunter football once again. As Jake Fieszel and his group get their hardware after perfection on the football field this past season. The Tigers not only posted an unscathed 16-0 record, but also brought home the first back-to-back state championships in school history, cementing this Senior class as one of the best to ever do it in Gunter.
