Separate shootings in Pittsburgh area leaves 1 dead, 2 injured
UNIONTOWN, Pa. (KDKA) — Police are investigating two separate shootings in Uniontown on Tuesday. The Uniontown Police Department said one man was shot and killed on a sidewalk in front of a home on Dunlap Street at around 2 p.m. on Tuesday. He was identified as 33-year-old Josh Stevens. Witnesses told Fayette County District Attorney Michael Aubele that Stevens threatened to stab the suspect before the shooting. Aubele told KDKA-TV's Jennifer Borasso that there was some disagreement before the shooting. Police said they are looking for the shooter, who they said fled the scene. "This wasn't a random act of violence," Aubele said....

Police looking to identify man who displayed inappropriate conduct toward women in Shadyside
Pittsburgh police are looking for a man they say behaved inappropriately toward women in Shadyside. Police said on May 28, the man approached two women on Walnut Street within a 15-minute span and first told them he liked their backsides. He followed one of the women into a stairwell, ran behind her and lowered his face into her backside as she was walking up the stairs, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call (412) 422-6520 and ask for plainclothes detectives.
Former IT worker accused of stealing nearly a million dollars from the Heinz Endowments
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A new federal lawsuit accuses a former IT worker of stealing nearly a million dollars from one local charitable foundation. According to court documents, Charles Richardson allegedly slowly stole the money from the Heinz Endowments over the last eight years while he was responsible for the organization's technology operations. Richardson was hired in 2014 and between 2016 and 2023, he had the Heinz Endowments pay a computer company that he owned for services he never provided. In total, he took $960,000. Prosecutors also said he sold the foundation's servers with the payments going to his company. He is also accused of trying to cover up his alleged crimes by deleting emails and documents after learning her was under investigation. Richardson is facing charges of violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and others.

Program in Pittsburgh area offers kids free meals during the summer
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank has launched its Summer Youth Café program. The program makes sure kids have access to healthy meals for free during the summer.
