Central NY judge resigns after pleading guilty to selling drugs
Albany, N.Y. — A Central New York judge who pleaded guilty to selling drugs has resigned his position on the bench and agreed not to seek it again. Mitchell Soules Jr., a justice of the Little Falls Town Court, pleaded guilty on April 17 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. He resigned the same day, according to the state Commission on Judicial Conduct.

FONDA, NY (May 9, 2024) – The Kubota High Limit Racing event at New York’s Fonda Speedway, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 18, has been canceled. Safety concerns, coupled with a wet forecast leaving the track unable to make the proper adjustments in time, have led to series and track officials agreeing to cancel the event for this year.
