Sulphur Senior Center temporarily closed for storm repairs
SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - The Sulphur Senior Center remains closed until further notice after Monday’s thunderstorms devastated parts of Louisiana. Part of their roof was blown off, but that’s only part of the damage that occurred. The rooms seniors use for different activities are a various states of disrepair.
Ruth Street in Sulphur to experience power outage for transmission replacement
SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - The City of Sulphur has announced a power outage today for some residents so that a transmission can be replaced by Entergy after it was damaged during the Monday, May 13th storms. The outage will occur around 11 a.m. and will last for approximately 5 hours.
