After a successful run in Encinitas, the owners of Little Victory Wine Market are getting ready to open Little Victory Wine Bar in Carlsbad at 505 Oak Ave Suite B .

The company’s new location is expected to move into the former home of Succulent Cafe in Carlsbad Village, according to a recent liquor license application. This is the latest from the husband and wife team Jeremy Simpson and Kirsten Potenza , who launched Little Victory Wine Market in Encinitas in 2022, offering natural wines, a small selection of cured meats, cheeses, tinned fish, locally sourced products and homemade goods.

At the time of the launch, the owners said they were hoping to launch more locations of Little Victory and were even open to developing more significant restaurant projects down the line, according to Eater San Diego . The successful business couple is finally getting closer to expanding the brand with a new bar concept. Like the original, the couple plans to offer on-site tasting once their liquor license is approved, with a focus on natural wines. There is no exact timeline for Little Victory Wine Bar.

“The offerings at Little Victory focus on wines made naturally, from California and abroad,” according to the company’s website. “We carry wines made with minimal intervention from both the new and old world and focus our energy on emerging and exciting producers. We celebrate the winemakers who treat their grapes and vineyards with care, intermingling organic and biodynamic, regenerative, and other sustainable farming practices with thoughtful winemaking techniques such as the use of wild yeasts, little to no sulfur additions, and zero filtration.”
