Five people were arrested and are facing drug and gun charges after a multi-parish chase ended in a crash in New Orleans Monday evening. The St. Bernard Parish sheriff said Christopher Walker, 20, of Violet; Dylan Duval, 18, of Violet; Richmond Marrero, 34, of New Orleans; Lisa Duval, 39, of Violet; and Taia Carroll, 18, of Shreveport, were arrested in connection with the incident.
Local Residents among Arrests on February 26, 2024 for Various Offenses
On February 26, 2024, several arrests were made according to the Public Records Act. The arrested individuals are not necessarily guilty. Among the arrested was a 16-year-old male from LaPlace, detained for a juvenile curfew violation. Damon Charles Johnson Jr., 27, from Virgilian Street, New Orleans, was arrested on a bench warrant for contempt of court and felony vehicle fraud.
