Ithaca man dies in rollover crash early Wednesday
GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - A 33-year-old man died at the scene of a rollover crash in Gratiot County early Wednesday. The Gratiot County Sheriff's Office says Matthew Hoffer was driving a pickup truck north on Barry Road in Elba Township around 6:10 a.m., when he failed to negotiate a curve leading to Grenlund Road and went off the roadway.

4 arrested in St. Johns after police find stolen vehicle, meth, and burglary tools
ST. JOHNS, Mich. (WILX) - Four people were arrested in St. Johns on Friday after being caught with burglary tools, weapons, and drugs by police. On May 3 at 12:42 a.m., St. Johns police were called to Autumn Ridge Apartments on Sunview Drive to investigate a report of suspicious vehicles in the complex’s parking area. When police arrived, they found four people in the vehicles.
Two people charged in crash that caused Trooper Joel Popp's death
SAGINAW COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - Two people face up to 15 years in prison for the deadly crash that claimed the life of Michigan State Police Trooper Joel Popp in January. Duncan Erving of Atlanta in Northern Michigan was arraigned Wednesday in Saginaw County District Court on one count of failure to use due care passing an emergency vehicle causing death.
