A St. Clair County woman is facing a serious prison sentence after being charged with reckless driving, causing death in a fatal Washington Township crash, according to officials. The unidentified 27-year-old from Riley could face up to 15 years behind bars for the accident that took place earlier this year on Feb. 2. ST. CLAIR SHORES, MI - Red Lobster is losing a Michigan location. The Red Lobster location in Fort Gratiot Township in St. Clair County, is shutting down. The seafood chain is on the brink of filing for bankruptcy, according to The Wall Street Journal, and is closing more than 50 of its restaurants across the country.

At about 3:30 p.m. May 6, a bomb threat was reported at the Home Depot in Fort Gratiot Township, according to officials from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office. When the threat was found written on the wall in a bathroom stall, law enforcement was notified. Upon learning of the situation, deputies responded, calling for area bomb K-9s to respond, as well as Fort Gratiot Fire Department to stage in the area. Michigan State Police K-9 and a Port Huron Police Department K-9 responded to the store. They worked meticulously clearing the building. No bomb and nothing of concern was located. The store resumed normal business.
