    Canandaigua's International Festival & Vintage Car Celebration set for this Saturday

    CANANDAIGUA, NY - Looking to spend your Saturday surrounded by international food, vintage cars, and live performances? Downtown Canandaigua will hold its International Festival & Vintage Car Celebration on Saturday, May 18.

    The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 115 South Main Street Canandaigua, NY.

    Vintage & Euro Car Cruise and Show

    Vintage and Classic cars manufactured in Europe, Japan, and England before 1999 will drive down Main St. in Canandaigua. Here is the schedule:

    • 11 a.m.- Cars will cruise down Main Street and around Ferris Hills/ Quail Summit Campuses
    • 11:30 a.m.- Cars will park and line Main Street for the show

    Want to get your car involved in the show? You can pre-register by filling out the application on the Downtown Canandaigua website- registration is $10 per car.

    Live Performances

    Live music and performances for this event will take place on the Maxion Stage at Main Street Commons Park. Here's the live performance line-up:

    • 11:30 a.m.- Burnt Cane - Steel Drum Duo
    • 1 p.m.- Jamieson Irish Dancers
    • 2:00 p.m.- Mayukwa African Drummer & Author
    • 3:00 p.m.- Chinese School of Rochester - Dance, Music, & Painting

    You can expect food trucks and a multitude of restaurants with an "international flair" to be open for dining. This event is said to be family-friendly, with activities like International Bingo and an opportunity for children to paint their own flags and cars.
