(25News Now) - After helping lead Pontiac to their first Softball State Title in program history, Pontiac’s star Junior Elena Krause is the 25 Sports Athlete of the Week. Krause’s final four pitching outings in the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four, and the State Title game were all shutout performances. The junior will be headed to Stanford for her college career, but for now Krause will be a big part of Pontiac’s chances to repeat as 3A State Champs this time next year.
