Two from Pineville arrested in baby death investigation
PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - Two people from Pineville have been arrested in relation to the death of a baby, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office. On May 7, RPSO said deputies responded to a hospital after a report of child abuse occurring in Pineville. At the hospital, the Department of Children and Family Services reported that a three-month-old child was currently hospitalized with injuries consistent with Shaken Baby Syndrome.
