Crimewatch: Camden sheriff makes arrests for DWI, failure to appear in court

Camden Sheriff

Ajuan Orland Mitchell, 26, of the 100 block of McCoy Road, South Mills, was arrested Feb. 29 and charged with failure to appear in court as required for possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor probation violation. He was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $10,000 secured bond.

Timothy Allen Roberts, 33, of the 700 block of Okisko Road, Lot 5, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 1 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $7,500 secured bond was set.

Christian Scott Perkins, 29, of the 800 block of N.C. Highway 343, Shiloh, was arrested March 16 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $250 cash bond was set.

Carlos Humberto-Escobar, 31, of the 100 block of Lisa's Way, Elizabeth City, was arrested March 15 and charged with driving while impaired. No bond information available.

Lemmie Forest East, 53, of the 400 block of Magnolia Drive, Camden, was issued a criminal summons March 6 for passing a worthless check. He was arrested March 14 and charged with failure to appear in court as required. A $350 secured bond was set.

Donnie Jones, 63, of the 600 block of N.C. Highway 343, Camden, was issued a criminal summons March 11 for a charge of failing to work after being paid to do so.

Phillip Clayton Sawyer, 32, of the 160 block of Milltown Road, Shiloh, was arrested March 8 and charged with violation of the conditions of his release. He was confined at Albmarle District Jail in lieu of a $2,500 cash bond.

Tracy Savanna Burnette, 23, of the 100 block of Aaron Drive, Shiloh, was arrested March 8 and charged with violation of the conditions of her release. She was confined at Albemarle District Jail in lieu of a $2,500 cash bond.

Currituck Sheriff

Shawan Eugene Davis, 20, of the 800 block of Geneva Ave., Chesapeake, Virginia, was arrested March 15 and charged with larceny of a firearm. He was confined at Currituck Detention Center in lieu of a $2,000 secured bond.
