Cambridge High School hosts Gatsby-themed prom for 2024

Cambridge High School hosted its 2024 prom in the gymnasium on Saturday night, with a Great Gatsby-inspired evening planned.

Pippa Mikes, the 2025 class adviser, headed up the evening, as the junior class is traditionally the group to throw the event.

The promenade commenced at precisely 6:30 p.m., with couples and groups being announced as they arrived. Chairs were neatly lined up in the cafeteria for those parents wishing to snap photos. As parents came and went, gorgeous gowns and less-than-traditional suits graced the stage as students posed for a photo before the dance.

The gym was decked out in opulent black and gold décor reminiscent of the roarin' 20s from the F. Scott Fitzgerald classic novel, The Great Gatsby.

Abbagail Mikes handled the food for the evening and DJ Mikey P handled the music. Crooked Halo Photography snapped photos of couples during the event and for the promenade.

Principal Jason Bunting and flapper-dressed teachers smiled at students as they arrived and entered the gym for a night full of memories in the making.
