George Deeble ID’d as man killed in Mattapan shooting, Boston police say
Police on Tuesday identified the man killed in a shooting in Mattapan early Saturday as a 42-year-old Dorchester man. George Deeble was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds at around 4:44 a.m. Saturday in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Fremont Street in Mattapan, Boston Police said in a statement. Deeble was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
