V Pizza and Tap Garden
Experience the true taste of Italy right here in Fleming Island at V Pizza, where every meal is crafted with an unapologetic commitment to authenticity. Our artisan pizzas are made using exceptional ingredients sourced directly from Italy and baked in traditional brick ovens imported from the old country. We specialize in the Neapolitan style, which is defined by a delicate balance of more sauce than cheese. This creates a signature “wet” center that is traditionally enjoyed with a knife and fork rather than by the slice. Because we serve individual 13-inch pizzas, you can enjoy your own perfect pie without ever having to fight over the last piece.

Yulee High Band Earns 3rd Place, Showcases Impact of One Mill Investment
YULEE, Fla. — The Yulee High School Band earned 3rd Place at its recent competition, delivering a strong performance made even more meaningful by the instruments used — many of which were purchased through Nassau County’s voter-approved One Mill investment in arts and education. The achievement highlights not only the dedication of student musicians and directors, but also the tangible results of community-supported arts funding. When Nassau County voters approved the One Mill initiative, the goal was clear: strengthen educational opportunities, expand access to quality programs, and equip students with the tools they need to succeed. For the Yulee band program, that support translated into modern, high-performance instruments that elevate both sound quality and competitive performance. The difference is measurable. Updated equipment allows students to perform at a higher technical level, compete more confidently, and produce the polished sound expected at today’s competitive events.Band leadership noted that the One Mill investment goes beyond simply replacing aging instruments — it represents opportunity, access, and achievement for local students. The third-place finish reflects months of preparation, discipline, and teamwork from the student musicians. It also serves as a reminder that community investment in the arts produces real, visible outcomes. Photos from the competition were captured by Assistant Band Director Jordan Miller. As the band continues its season, this latest accomplishment stands as a testament to what happens when a community rallies behind its schools — and its students rise to the occasion.
