NEW BLOOMFIELD — The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) announced that it will be hosting a basic handgun workshop on Monday, April 29. According to a press release, the workshop is meant for participants to learn the various parts and operations of the handgun, including its ammunition, handgun safety and shooting fundamentals.
Fire districts near Armstrong respond to milking barn fire
ARMSTRONG, MO - Glasgow Fire District says they responded to a structure early Wednesday morning in aid of Armstrong Fire District. The structure was described as an empty milking barn. Fire had reportedly caused the roof to collapse before crews arrived. Strong winds also spread the flames to a fence line and a feed lot. Property owners assisted with cutting off electricity to the building, and management of nearby livestock. Crews were at the scene from around 4:30 to just after 6 a.m.
