(Mayville) Cash bond has been set at $1-million-dollars for a Hartford man accused of assaulting two minors in Dodge County. Adam Rash allegedly assaulted one of the victims, who was eight years old at the time and 18-years-old, over 100 times while he was living in Hustisford. The second victim was allegedly assaulted roughly 20 times when she was between the ages of 14-to-15-years-old. If convicted, the 33-year-old faces up to 265 years in prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday (September 28th).
Two people arrested after traffic stop in Germantown
A 35-year-old man was arrested after attempting to flee a traffic stop on County Line Road near Falls Parkway at approximately 8:30 p.m. Sept. 24. According to a statement posted on the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, a deputy stopped a vehicle for suspended registration on County Line Road and Falls Parkway in the Village of Germantown. The driver, who was later identified as a 35-year-old man, provided false information to the deputy, and attempted to switch seats with the front passenger. When the deputy attempted to detain the driver for obstructing, the suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot but tripped over his pants.
Weekly Safety Report: Van in Creek, Fatal Crash, and Teen Fleeing Police in Dodge County, Wisconsin
This week in Dodge County, Wisconsin, there were three incidents that occurred. A van went into a creek in Beaver Dam, but the driver and passenger were safely helped to shore by first responders. In another incident, a 39-year-old man from the New London area died after crashing into a tree. Lastly, a Madison teen was charged with fleeing Beaver Dam police in a stolen vehicle. These incidents highlight the importance of safety and caution on the roads.

Weekly Safety Report: Gunshots and Attempted Homicide in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
Two incidents occurred in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin this week. In the first incident, a 20-year-old man from Wausau was arrested after multiple reports of gunshots near East Second Street and Park Avenue. Handgun casings were found, and the man was detained. In the second incident, a 40-year-old Fond du Lac man is facing attempted homicide charges for allegedly trying to stab his girlfriend with a kitchen knife after driving her to a remote Dodge County road. The man could face up to 40 years in prison if convicted.

Dodge County Board Shows Support For Pelican Path Project
(Juneau) The Dodge County Board is backing the Pelican Path project. It seeks to connect a five-and-a-half mile paved, non-motorized, multi-use trail from Hustisford to the Wild Goose Trail southern trailhead on Highway 60. Plans for the path would also see it connect to Hustisford’s elementary and high school as well as its library, downtown, and Neider Park.
