BYRON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — It was another big day for a group of local high school athletes as they officially put pen to paper. Byron held its national letter of intent signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon for six Tigers who represent three different sports.

Ryan Tucker committed to Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois where he’ll continue playing basketball.

This year’s state championship football team added four more signees.

Jacob Barber is off to Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois.

Braylon Kilduff will take his talents to Platteville, Wisconsin to become a member of the UW-Platteville football team.

One of the Tigers will hit the DI stage next season. That’s Ashton Henkel . He will continue his football career at St. Thomas University.

Joshua Harris will be here in Rockford next football season with the Regents of Rockford University.

Then Maison Brandt will hit the links with Central College in Pella, Iowa as he continues golfing.
