First Alert Forecast: Off and on showers possible this week as temperatures cool off
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Today: Temperatures will crank up throughout your Sunday as highs are expected to reach the mid 90s. Muggy conditions will stick around for the afternoon and evening , which will make it feel like the triple digits in most locations. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day and take breaks from the heat. Most of us should stay dry heading into Sunday night as the rain should stay further off to the north, however a few showers and storms make creep into the northern portions of our viewing area. Some of these showers may linger overnight but most of us should be off to a dry start for the week.
