SULPHUR, Okla. — A century of history is gone forever because of a tornado that hit Sulphur in late April. Sulphur is still in its recovery process nearly three weeks after the deadly tornado. The mother-daughter duo who owns the Rusty Nail Winery said recovering has been hard and a headache.

After attending Sulphur High School, she began working in long-term healthcare at the Callaway Nursing Home. She held several positions, including nutritionist and activities director. Her hardworking spirit was shown every day. Her caring nature was a blessing to every resident she encountered. Courtney worked hard to ensure that each resident’s needs were met.
Oklahoma lawmakers pass bill to get financial relief to towns devastated by recent tornadoes
OKLAHOMA CITY — Relief money will soon be on the way for parts of Oklahoma hit hard by tornadoes and severe storms during the past few weeks. On Thursday, Oklahoma state senators unanimously passed two bills that would send $45 million in aid to areas affected by the storms. House Bill 2912 establishes a revolving fund for rebuilding efforts, and House Bill 2913 puts $30 million in that new fund while another $15 million will go toward an emergency fund that already exists.
