1 injured after Roanoke shooting; Police searching for suspect
ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — One person has been hospitalized after an early-morning shooting, and the suspect is still at large, according to the Roanoke Police Department. RPD said their department was dispatched to the 2900 Block of Ravenwood Avenue NW around 2 a.m. on May 14 for the report of a person with a gunshot wound.

Sheriff's deputies respond to neighbor altercation that leads to shooting
On May 3rd, 2024, at approximately 8:14 pm, Bedford County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call for a disturbance between neighbors in the 1500 block of Lizard Ridge Rd. Bedford, Virginia. During this altercation a firearm was produced which led to Harley Marquette being shot, receiving non-life-threatening injuries. As a result of this incident a search warrant was obtained and served on the residence of Harley Marquette. At the completion of this warrant, numerous firearms and ammunition were recovered as well as possible explosive devices. Virginia State Police bomb squad was contacted and responded to handle the possible explosives which were determined to be inert and render the scene safe.
