Las Vegas (KSNV) — Temperatures are heating up in Southern Nevada, meaning it is time for state park officials to start closing hiking trails. Seasonal hiking restrictions will go into effect on Wednesday, May 15 at Valley of Fire State Park in Moapa Valley, remaining in place through Tuesday, October 1.
