Man accused of burning N.J. church while battling bugs will remain jailed, judge says
A Gloucester County man accused of setting a church on fire as he tried to scare off insects will remain in jail until his trial, a judge ruled Tuesday. Firefighters responded to a blaze at Colonial Manor United Methodist Church in West Deptford around 6:40 a.m. on April 20, officials said. One firefighter suffered severe burns to his hands will battling the blaze and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
